Symantec License Keys on Certificates and Software Version Upgrade Notifications
Symantec is pleased to announce that in their ongoing efforts to improve their customers’ licensing experience, we are reducing the number of steps required to activate a product.
For products where they supply keys with the certificate or Software Version Upgrade notification, the customer is no longer required to visit the Symantec Licensing Portal to claim a key. For new license purchases and Software Version Upgrades of these products, keys will be delivered with the certificate or notification. Customers can activate their product immediately upon receipt of their certificate or notification. The option of going to Symantec’s multi-featured Licensing Portal still remains, should a customer need to manage keys, add technical contacts or edit contact details.
