Open Licensing Physical Media EOL
**Announcement**
As from July 1st 2008, physical media for Microsoft Open orders will become obsolete. Going forward, media will be available to download via the eOpen website on https://eopen.microsoft.com Please see below for instructions on how to do so:
How to download media from eOpen
- Sign-in to your Windows Live ID account.
- When first accessing the VLSC (Volume License Service Centre) you will need to fill out all the fields and then click "Continue"
- All products available for download will be showed, depending on whether you have either Open, Select, Enterprise or school agreements. Once you have selected the product required use the "Product Link" to begin the download, making sure you specify the language required, connection speed and OS (Operating System)
- Click on " Continue Download". Confirm all the settings then select "Download"
- Choose the location where you require it to be saved to. Upon doing this you will be prompted to use the Download Manager which minimises time spent on downloading large files and will restart the process automatically if it is disrupted
- When the download has ended the status will change to "Finish". Click on "Launch" for the product to be activated

As always with Microsoft however, there are a few exceptions to this rule! Dynamics CRM 4.0, Small Business Server 2003, Microsoft Math & Windows Server for Small Business will still have a physical media kit that can be ordered via the Microsoft fulfillment centre on 0800 917 9016.
